Help with Identifying Old gun

I've attached photographs of, what I believe to be, a Brow Bess. Although, now I'm wondering if its older? I was hoping you could give me your opinion? The action appears to have been converted to percussion? The Barrel Diameter is about 3/4 of an inch. There is one"bent pin" going through brass fittings that seem to keep the barrel attached to the stock. There are no identifying numbers/symbols on the musket.

About all I can tell from the pictures is that it is a Half Stock Percussion Rifle of some sort. Could be old, could be new. Need better pictures. Especially of the lock, any brass decorations, and any and all markings. (You may have to remove it from the stock to see if there are any markings on the bottom of the barrel.) Also measurements, bore, barrel length, etc. A full length picture in addition to close-ups would also help.

It's not a 'Bess". Maybe 1840/50 period. Are there any makers marks, proof marks, initials, etc.?

From what I can see it looks suspiciously like an early Spanish made replica, mainly because you don't have the wood shrinkage expected on a 150 yr. old firearm and it really looks too good.
Pull the barrel and look for proof marks. I hope I'm not right.

If there's no markings on the gun I will go with it being a replica of some type. Doesn't look old enough to be real.
