Default Rolled and Smoked my First Fatty

Never thought I'd be taking pictures of food but here it is anyway.

Made with bacon,Jimmy Dean sausage, my secret spice rub, chilies from Hatch,NM, and pepper jack cheese. Smoked it with alder to an internal temperature of 170.

Here is the link on the how to. http://www.smoking-meat.com/january-...age-fatty.html

The Alder gave away your location.
Best smoking wood in the world.

Weird that you can't find it for sale unless you buy it by the truckload.

Thanks for the link.

Been there done that! Try smoking the Jimmy Dean spicy without bacon for spaghetti, lasagna, chili etc. It's great!
I like the spicy with a stronger flavored wood like mesquite and hickory mixed.
