I didnt know that, and before reading Alpo's link post I was seriously doubting it.
Captain kangaroo was a navy cross winner...Wasnt he a "merry o'l fellow"? Dont get me wrong here, but he was more than just a "merry o'l fellow" wasnt he?

Well darn! I have seen those reports on the military history of several Hollywood people and was enjoying the fact that several had outstanding military careers which made me "feel good". Now I find they were not factual, darn.

Yea RJay that is comforting and Charles Bronson I think really did serve in the Army Air Core. But darn that fictional story of Mr. Roberts was a good one.
