This smart mouth little computer genius should be anniliated! Although if he came over and fixed my problems on any regular basis, I'd probably put up with his tongue. My computer man is $85 an hour!

As we Silver Surfers know, sometimes we have trouble with our computers.

I had a problem yesterday, so I called Eric, the 11 year old next door, whose bedroom looks like Mission Control and asked him to come over.

Eric clicked a couple of buttons and solved the problem.
As he was walking away, I called after him, 'So, what was wrong?

He replied,

'It was an ID ten T error.'
I didn't want to appear stupid, but nonetheless inquired,

'An, ID ten T error? What's that? In case I need to fix it again.'
Eric grinned ... 'Haven't you ever heard of an ID ten T error before?
'No,' I replied.

'Write it down,' he said, 'and I think you'll figure it out.'
So I wrote down:

ID10T
I used to like Eric, the little bastard.

I learned that in Computer Engineering, it's generaly something like pressing F11 and not knowing what you did.

My computer man is $85 dollars an hour too, but at least he hasn't called me an Idiot yet! He did tell me the last time I brought my computer in that it was so screwed up that it would have been funny, if it hadn't been so bad!

I used to be one of those fixit guys for a big national company ..While writing up a report of the resolution to a problem.I used that term.. Dang near got fired..I didn't know the customers got to see those reports. :-(
