I think the 1200 National Guard troops going down there will be there to disarm the militia and protect the illegals.

"Babeu and Sheriff Larry Dever of Cochise County Ariz., spoke by phone with CNSNews.com last week about the May 17 ACLU class-action lawsuit, which charges the law uses racial profiling and named the county attorneys and sheriffs in all 15 Arizona counties as defendants. The Department of Justice filed a lawsuit on July 6, charging the Arizona law preempted the federal government’s sole right to enforce immigration law."

First, yes it is racial profiling. I believe that fery few Whites and Blacks enter through the Mex-US border illegally.

Second, the federal government is doing NOTHING to enforce immigration law. So someone has to.

Imagine you're a cop, and you stop a car for speeding. You greet the driver, "How are you doing today?", and he responds in broken English. You ask to see his license, registration, and proof of insurance - the only document he can produce is a Guatemalan drivers license. Would you consider that to be racial profiling?

I would agree that the majority of illegals are from Latin America, but that does not mean the cops are making their determinations on the basis of skin color. In the above scenario, the cop would develop the same suspicion if the driver was white and handed over a Romanian drivers license.
