Walther Model #4. Made between 1910 and 1918. Nice condition and fits right in with your believed vintage. Great family heirloom.

If you go to disassemble that gun, please get the right information; some have been ruined by people trying to use brute force to take them apart.

So this is a Walther model 4 thanks for the information. Any idea of value? We need to get a insurance policy for all of their property since they do alot of traveling now days. They have a safe but not the greatest of safes. I will probably get his collection someday so I have been pushing for a beter safe for them and getting them valued for insurance coverage.

Retail value in that condition would be around $250, a bit more if the grips are factory and not made here.
