Default Thompson dealer demo conversion

Ok guys I am a 07 with a paid SOT,( class 2 manufacturer) I am doing an auto ordinance 1927 A1 thompson as a dealer demo being converted to select fire.. I bought the conversion Vol 4. book and as i got into tearing my gun down i noticed that the firing pin is different in mine compared to what is in the conversion manual. Its the shape on the end where it strikes the cartridges primer. The one in the book is a wide oval shape while the one i have is just a small circle like a normal looking firing pin and no way shape or form does this work in my gun. Have any of you here done a thompson conversion that could shoot some advise my direction.. Thanks.

if anyone has any idea's or information that could help me figure this out please message me on here OR email me at JLJuliette@comcast.net
