Default H&R 38 top break nickle plated

I purchased this gun today and it seems to have a low serial number...can anyone help me ID it ?? The gun is in excellent shape...the serial is 230783

need a little more information. how is it marked and where? is it top break or solid frame? in the H&R world a 6 diget serial number usually means a smokeless powder model.
