Snake, does the MO-ROD work as well as the accu-strut?

JLA, I like the Mo-Rod and yes it does an excellent job without adding a ton of weight to the gun. It's all aluminum and adds only about 6.6 oz's. The best thing it does is it elminates the first round flyer that's always an inch or so off the POA and it eliminates the Mini's tendency to string rounds after it begins to heat-up under rapid fire. Putting the Mo-Rod on cut my groups in half taking it down from about 4" at 100 yards to 2".

I would like to be part of the club, Here's a picture of mine. Mini 30 on top and mini 14 on the bottom. I'm not sure why the 14 would have a recoil pad and the 30 wouldn't.

Not sure what mini means, but they're all a bunch of sweet looking guns.
I'm assuming mini means smaller than another model of the same gun.

mini 14 is the model of ruger rifle and yes it is essentially a mini M14 (M1A)

They are neet little ranch carbines and very handy, like a M1 carbine chambered for .223.. But they are nowhere near as accurate as a good M1A.
And the mini 30s are excellent hog rifles. And they also have a fairly rare mini 6.8 in 6.8SPC.

I had to help a guy at the range remove a ruptured cartridge from his Mini the other day. It was a steel cased Wolf .223 and it was a bear to get out but I did. I would not advise using steel cased ammo in a Mini.
