Im looking to buy my first AR-15. Im liking the Bushmaster carbon superlite. Any thoughts?? My budget is limited and from what i hear and read its a solid performer.. Am i doing right for my first AR platform??

Unless they have changed and added a forward assist I would say no. They are very well made and if the ammo is perfect they work great but if you get a round that is stuck without the bolt closing, it is a real pain. Unless someone knows a trick that I don't the only way to get it out is by putting a rod down the muzzle. Bushmaster in my view is as good as it gets and you might want to look at one of their other models if the super light one doesn't have the forward assist.
