How would a 7mm 08 would do on coyotes

I do not have a 7mm-08 but I do have a 308 which it is based on. I shoot at 500 yards all the time no problems with that 308 so I do not see any reason why a 7mm-08 would not work well with coyotes.

Like 308 said above, I dont have the 7mm 08 either, but say it would reach out there on the coyotes. My .270 WIN does a nice fine job reaching out there on them! If your hunting them for the fur to sell and what not, I know the .243 in psp does a nice fine job reaching out there and not tearing them up so bad, (i'm 'vearin' off the org. thread now...)

I have a Remington 700 in 7mm-08 and love the round. Very accurate. I haven't hunted with it yet but do shoot steel pigs and 300 meters and steel rams at 500 meters with much success.

The coyotes would object strenuously and that is about a good a recommendation as you can get.
