..........., and that is why I will probably buy the Charter!

Lamentations Chapter 5:
1. Remember, O LORD, what is come upon us: consider, and behold our reproach.
2. Our inheritance is turned to strangers, our houses to aliens.
3. We are orphans and fatherless, our mothers [are] as widows.
5. Our necks [are] under persecution: we labour, [and] have no rest.
16. The crown is fallen [from] our head: woe unto us, that we have sinned!
21. Turn thou us unto thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old.

i own 2 charter arms in 44 one a older "target bulldog" and it's baby brother and both have served me well over the years. i've heard charter arms had quality issues but that is behind them from what i gather. when i carried the littler one it was always with winchester silver tips and i never felt undergunned. to date the guns have well over 5000 rounds thru them and i've never had them fail me. also a sleeper in the 44 special world was the rossi model 720 ( i think ) 3 inch barrel adjustable sights with a non-bobbed hammer. in stainless steel.if you can find one of those used give it a good look see, you'll be surprised at it's quality . wish i still had mine it was a good one.....

I recently replaced a S&W 629 Classic that I sold years ago and just about passed out when I saw the final price. Myself, I think I will stay with the "tupperware" guns from now on. LOL At least you can get a good deal on those for right now. I got the M&P 40 full sized for $449.99, and at those prices you can get two for the price of one steel gun.

Just my opinion, you couldnt run me down and give me a Charter arms or a Taurus. I have personaly seen a Charter arms Bulldog blow up from shooting some mild reloads, grant it , it was an older one, but that image is still in my head everytime i hear Charter Arms. My boss has a 4" barrel Tracker, i am not impressed with it , it is excessivly loud due to the mag na porting, and isnt much on the accuracy department. I perfer to spend my money with a proven American company. I could care less if you had two identical pistols and one was made in Brazil and was $200 and the other was made in America and was $2000, i would buy the American one that is built by Americans, who have families and actually pay taxes here that support our economy, i do not beleive in investing my hard earned money in a foriegn company, that employs people that cant even spell firearm much less build one.
