Two illegal aliens, Ralphel Resindez, 23, and Enrico Garza, 26, probably believed they would easily overpower home-alone 11-year-old Patricia Harrington after her father had left their Two-story home. It seems the two crooks never learned two things: they were in Montana and Patricia had been a clay-shooting champion since she was nine.

Patricia was in her upstairs room when the two men broke through the front door of the house. She quickly ran to her father’s room and grabbed his 12-gauge Mossberg 500 shotgun.

Resindez was the first to get up to the second floor only to be the first to catch a near point blank blast of buckshot from the 11-year-old’s knee-crouch aim. He suffered fatal wounds to his abdomen and genitals.

When Garza ran to the foot of the stairs, he took a blast to the left shoulder and staggered out into the street where he bled to death before medical help could arrive.

It was found out later that Resindez was armed with a stolen 45-caliber handgun he took from another home invasion robbery. That victim, 50-year-old David 0′Burien, was not so lucky. He died from stab wounds to the chest.

Ever wonder why good stuff never makes NBC, CBS, PBS, MSNBC, CNN, or ABC news……..?

An 11 year old girl, properly trained, defended her home, and herself……against two murderous, illegal immigrants…….and she wins,
She is still alive.

Now THAT is Gun Control!

Yes indeed it was a great story even it was a just a 'story'.
But this one is real.

Armed wife saves her husband from a violent home invader

A woman reportedly used a handgun to stop the violent intruder who had just shot her husband.
Police say that two robbers, whose faces may have been partially covered, kicked in the door of a home on the 200 block of Colonial Drive in Knoxville, TN. One of the robbers is said to have shot and beaten the husband, at which point his wife retrieved their .357 magnum home defense handgun and fired, striking one of the suspects in the torso. The injured suspect, reportedly identified as 24 year old Joshua Dexter Watson, died from his wounds, and the injured husband's wounds were not life-threatening. No injuries to the wife or the 4 year old boy who was present in the home were reported. Police say that Watson had a criminal history that began before his 18th birthday, which included over a dozen charges such as robbery, theft, drug possession, and evading arrest.
Yet again we have another woman who was able to stop a criminal by using a gun. Had this woman not been armed, it is rather unlikely that she could have stopped one home invading man – much less two, especially after her husband had been shot. Instead, she could have ended up like this woman or this woman; victimized in her own home. The sexist people who suggest that women can’t defend themselves with guns really should take note of this and similar self defense cases that happen every day. They should also remember that without guns, they physically stronger criminal will prevail, and as a matter of biology and/or cultural norms, few women have the physical ability to fight off a male attacker with their bare hands.
Luckily, this woman was armed, and as a result managed to save herself, her husband, and a small child from two violent intruders.

Also that shotgun in the pic looks awefully short. A federal tax stamp would be needed for it since it is a restricted weapon due to the short barrel <18"

But I have to say that is one sweet looking shotgun and I would love to have it.

I thought barrel length was 16 inches. Is it different for rifles then it is shotguns?

I thought it was all 18" for anything that wasn't considered a pistol.

It originally (back in '34 when the law was writ) was 18 inches for both rifle and shotgun. After WW2 bunches of surplus M1 Carbines were sold to the American public. It was found (horror of horrors) that many of them had barrels shorter than 18 inches. To keep from either arresting all these people, or forcing them to paper all those surplus rifles the government was trying to sell off to make some money, the law was re-written. Shotguns stayed at 18 inches, but rifles were changed to 16. BUT, the overall length of 26 inches stayed the same for either of them.

Yeah, that story is old. Been re-written many times. In some stories the girl is a junior skeet champion and is home alone.
