Received an e-mail from one of our Congressmen. Long story short...it "censored" me off!!
Just finished my response to the letter, challenging what he said. I only believe half of what he said. He's a "D". In short, he says he supports the Second, but he's for tighter gun control. I guess you can see which half I believe. I just couldn't let it go unanswered. Waiting to hear his response, now. So, I have a question for anybody who knows. How would one go about "tossing one's hat in the ring" to run for public office? This congressman's letter has me more steamed than I thought and I'm itching to get into the fight. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

It varies by state. Is this a US Representative, or a State Representative? In either case, it is typically a very expensive prospect to even make a decent primary showing in these races. If you have money of your own, it can be done. If you have connections, it can be done. If you have stellar networking skills, it can be done. If you have all three, you just might make the incumbent nervous. If you have less than two of the above, you may be wiser to jump on board with the campaign of the next republican to run in your district.
