There is a new shooting range opening up in March about a mile from my house. Its an indoor range (great for summer in Tx). The best part is that they were offering charter memberships for $100.00. All of the other memberships in the area start at 250.00, including their's once it opens. It reduced my daily range pass from $14.85 to $1.99, and I can take 1 guest for free. There are also a bunch of other perks, but thats the biggest one.

So ready for it to open!

Some indoor ranges don't allow blackpowder.....

Sounds like you are hooked on BP shooting; that's great!

One thing about those indoor ranges; some snobish members frown on BP shooting in their midst; much like a "gated" community frowns on rusty cars!

I double checked before I signed up...three owners said it wouldnt be a problem.

And its funny that my "Rusty Car" was getting more curious people coming over and asking about it than the shiny new ones were.

TxBlackPowder, that's great, sounds like you're all set.

Once I got "lectured" when I started shooting a BP revolver at an indoor range; the owners were worried about all the smoke (and their ventilation system wasn't the greatest).

according to the owners, the ventalation will be strong enough that you will actually feel a breeze at your back when your shooting. Now it just needs to open.
