Smith & Wesson Enhanced 1911's
Just off the phone w/S&W, and was told their new line of Enhanced 1911's will be shown at the up coming SHOT show. They can be seen on Bud's Gun Shop's web site but not on Smith's site - yet. S&W says their new printed catalog is available to order and has them in it, and their site will be up dated soon.

Jeff at S&W tells me that the new Enhanced Series 1911's will feature:
1) Ambi-thumb safety 2) Larger Perf Ctr extractor (still external) 3) Precision fitted trigger 4) Checker grip front strap and rear of slide 5) Recessed and chamfered barrel 6) Upgraded grips 7) Night sights (some mod) 8) Fish scale slide serrations 9) Titanium firing pins They state that they will update their web site after the SHOT Show this month.
