I would say that I do more reloading than "handloading"; so I'd call myself a disciple of boom !

Have had occasion to remind some that "Engineer is what I do to earn money, not what I am". Similar could be said for any other trade or profession.

The problem with any specialty name is that nearly no-one knows what you mean. When I tell people that I was a steel fabricator, they say: "oh, you mean re-bar?" No, re-bar is masonary. Never mind what a fitter/fabricator/weldor does. At one time or another, you have driven over, walked around inside, or depended on your water or power from something I've built.
Fine then. though I've been reloading for 40 years, and developed a couple of wildcat cartridges and stuff of that nature, I'm a "Reloader". It's all just tedious, redundant procedure, much like anything that MUST be done exactly right. Let them guess at the semantics.

I have been called a lot of things! Most can't be printed here! While I am a retired Postal Worker, I suppose that I am a jack of all trades, and master of none, and that falls right into my reloading style.

Lamentations Chapter 5:
1. Remember, O LORD, what is come upon us: consider, and behold our reproach.
2. Our inheritance is turned to strangers, our houses to aliens.
3. We are orphans and fatherless, our mothers [are] as widows.
5. Our necks [are] under persecution: we labour, [and] have no rest.
16. The crown is fallen [from] our head: woe unto us, that we have sinned!
21. Turn thou us unto thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old.

I use to hand load new 45/70 rounds.

Nowadays I just hand load a dinner plate or re-load a cocktail.

You can call me anything so long as it ain't a Democrat.

Most know me by "Sarge".
