Im in love with this weapon all over again.
Love these grips!BEFORE with the Hogue black rubber monogrip. AFTER with the Hogue custom hardwood monogrip. They call this one Tulipwood and it is niiiiice on a deeply blued gun, looks like cedar to me. I love it!

Just beautiful Josh. Like the look of your reloads too. Your cast bullets, right?

Does that gun make you nervous when shooting it, Josh? Looks like you squeezed those grips a little hard and left finger indentions.

I like the grain in those grips!
I was meaning to ask ya Josh, do the feel "slippery"? The ones I got to go on mine I sort of wished I would have got the checkered ones. Mine are flat-out slick and slippery.

not really, but I dont shoot too many magnums from it. Most of my shooting is with .38 spec level loads in magnum cases at paper targets. I think they are very comfy and manageable. Ill run some mags thru it next time I shoot it and get back to you...

Very nice! I personally never liked rubber grips, good wood has always had an attraction for me.
