Crpdeth - You might be concerned that IT WILL BITE YOU. The problem is that Mrs. T doesn't want civil debate. She already has the answer she wants locked tightly into her head. Nothing you, me, or anyone else is going to say to change her beliefs will reach her.

Your concern is that anyone who responds with emotion will have their words quoted and used on all of us as a weapon.

Mrs. T - my only response to you is that I wish you the best. I ask you in a civil tone not to take my right to defend my home and my family from me. There are evil people in this world who would harm you. I assure you it is not the hunter who lives in your community. It is not the avid sportsmen and sportswomen and it is certainly not regular members of the Forum whom you should fear.

Your fear should be of those who would take away your freedoms, your liberty, your possessions and maybe even your life. I am confident that you would never use the "N Word" to describe people of color. I am trying to understand how you freely use the "Redneck" term to describe those who choose their right to keep and bear arms under our sacred Constitution to define gun collector and sportspersons? I hope you are not, but so far you have presented yourslf as a hypocrite.

I see mrs teresa dosent respond to me since i used (or we all did) facts vs. her hear say.
Ive been trying to figure out her thought process and i think i got it. Very simple fixes with no thought of any future problems it may cause.

I thought of an anology to fit this situation.

On gun control:
Leftist solution: if you remove all guns no one will have them and everyone will hug each other.

Do you guys remember about 3 years ago almost all of the dog food had to be removed from the shelves because it was somehow poisoned and dogs were dying of liver failure.

Leftist solution: Just stop feeding your dog he wont be poisoned.

Im pretty sure this is what we are dealing with here. Guys i think i am done explaining anything to her. Teresa if you would like facts please read the paper i wrote and posted in this forum (which has actual facts in it) It does not have any Bill maher or rachael maddow hateful thoughts or quotes so it may be a tough read for you.You may learn something but its obvious your not here to learn anything.

Know what, we should all stop supporting the NRA and push for the complete ban of all weapons and the repeal of the second ammendment too.

You will never rid the world of guns, or the US of guns. To do so the government would have to go door-to-door collecting them, and that would start a civil war.

If you have laws that keep law abiding citizens from obtaining guns, the criminals will get them anyway, and then us law abiding citizens will have no way of protecting our selves.

It's as simple as that. Gun laws only take guns away from law-abiding citizens, and it is our constitutional right to have them.

Now just what would you suggest I do when my home is invaded by armed intruders in the middle of the night and I have no gun to protect my family?

Why, thats a dumb question. Just ask them politely to please leave you alone and go next door and rob those people. If that doesnt work, your 18 month old child should be able to run however far it is to the police station to get help. If the kid cant run that far then you should punish it for not being in shape enough to run that far. Gosh, do I have to tell you everything? Oh, these gun lovers!

That's just it, they don't want you harm those poor innocent criminals. Afterall they're people too!! I get tired of hearing this from my fellow liberals, as soon as someone acts on trying to use violence to take your livlihood, they no longer are humans, at that point i condsider them to be less than human, less than animals. Heck I pray for the deer/squirrels I kill, I honor them by not wasting a bit of their body. Criminals, no such treatment.

You know as much as I try to respect and honor our enemies so that I can honor those killed in the line of duty, it's hard to have respect for these terrorists when they can't even make high grade explosives. which brings me to my next point.

Mrs. T do you know how easy it is to make explosives, and I mean high grade RDX? I assure you, if you ban firearms, they will be made in basements, making criminals out of ordinary citizens. And the police would be caught off guard by the fact that *gasp* criminals are showing up with guns... but we got rid of them all.... how'd they do that....

well it's easy. RDX for instance is an outdoor store and a chemical supply store away. (there are other places to get the ingridients but I don't really want this to be common knowlege, no matter how easy it is. I'm not going to perpetuate it.)
