im just curious about what opinions you guys have on what is the best itty bitty gun to have. i dont mean itty bitty like the fit in the palm of your hand deals. i mean more along the size of a kel-tec p-32. i have my G21 for carry but alot of times that gun is just too big, bulky, and heavy to conceal well. so im thinking about laying my hands on a little guy to put in a pocket holster on those occasions. im going to set my limit at $350 for the most i want to spend even though i know i almost always end up going over my budget if i come across something that i really like. so lay into me! favorite pocket guns! doesnt necessarily have to be a semi-auto either.

Focus, I highly recommend the CZ83 for your this particular purpose.

Ruger's LCP, Kel-Tec, Diamond Back, S&W, all in . 380, and then there are the smaller caliber pistols, in .32, and 25. IMHO, the .380 is about as small as I would go on caliber.
http://www.ruger.com/products/lcp/index.html?r=y http://www.keltecweapons.com/our-guns/pistols/p-3at/ http://diamondbackfirearms.com/DB380/ http://www.smith-wesson.com/webapp/w...2_757751_image The Ruger LCP, the Diamond Back, and the Kel-Tec, can be had for $300.

the P32 tucks nicely into my dress slacks when out in a suit. I put one of the belt clips on it and put it on before the belt so the belt covers the clip. This has proven to be a very good way to carry in extremely light clothes. Since I live in the desert portion of the states the slacks are very light and don't conceal any size of frame very well. Never been a fan of carrying in the jacket since it gets left on the back of chairs when on the dance floor.

S&W 642. Stuff it with your favorite +P, wrap it with a Desantis Nemesis and drop it in your pocket. If it's cold, just toss it in your coat pocket. Should things get ugly, you can empty it from inside the pocket.

I now carry a Kel-Tec P32 and I'm very confortable with it. However it is a matter of preferance and my own experience.

I'm very happy with my P 32 Keltec. I carry it every day. I have a couple of P3ATs, a Beretta Tomcat, Naa Guardian .32, mini revolvers, J frame 38s, and most other small guns.

My kel tec .32 with the extended magazine for those three extra rounds. For the rare time I wear a jacket in Florida I use my wifes 642 Airweight.

Good suggestions above and the CZ83 is my favorite. I would stay away from diamondbacks. They have a design flaw that allows the firing pin to remain loose in the Channel until you release the trigger. This can set up for a slam fire but also causes feed issues b/c the pin is allowed to protrude the breech face occasionally if you limp wrist just enough.

I just bought a Sig P238 yesterday. I have not fired it yet but it became my favorite the minute I saw it in the gun shop, a few months ago.

Good gun. Quite accurate for as being as small as it is.

My favorite itty bitty is a Colt JR. in .25cal. Invisible in the pocket and inside a room it's as loud as a 45. Shot placement counts.

Springfield EMP. Small, concealable, tough, powerful.

I carry the LCP as BUG and/or Ruger LCR and Springfielf EMP. The EMP is a bit on the heavy side but if you wear cargo shorts or pants it works good in those big pockets.

My new Sig P238 .380 is nice, but my S&W 360 .38/357 5 shot revolver is amazingly accurate. The Sig is easier to shoot, the S&W trys to take off your fingers.

My favorite of all the micro pistols I've shot was either the Rohrbaugh 9mm or the micro eagle (Kelvin) pistol. Rohrbaugh is a little pricey for me to buy myself and the Kelvin was but the price has come down on those quite a bit.
I own a LCP so I'll say it's my favorite. I should say I did own a LCP but the wife found it and now I'm on the hunt for another summer pocket carry pistol....probably go with the bodyguard this time.

Kel-tec .380 works great for me. It was the first one available when I was looking to get it, and the trade deal was good, so it was hard to turn down. It's been reliable with ball ammo and Fiocchi HPs, so it works for me.
Honestly, if the example you're holding is reliable, the Kel-tec, Ruger, Diamond Back, and S&W aren't much different. The CZ that JLA suggested is good, but it's bigger than the others. For that size, there are several single-stack 9mm pistols available. The SIG is the same as the old Colt Mustang, and I really wish I could afford one of those. One of those two would be probably the only thing I'd trade my Kel-tec for (or toward, really). But they're a bit beyond your $350 price range. Naturally.

any chance you could give me more info on the CZ83? dont know alot about that one and since its been suggested multiple times i would like to hear more about it. im going to do a google look up for some specs and what not but that cant beat first hand info from people who have owned fired, carried, torn down, and put them back together again.
i would prefer having at least a 9mm. im just not that big a fan of carrying a BB gun. either give me a decent lead chucker to carry or ill just pick up a stick if i need to. i know that comment will probably cause me to need to put on a flame suit but its my personal opinion. so the cz83 is looking decent but isnt it still a pretty heavy gun? and doesnt keltec have that super compact 9mm too? cant remember what it was, crap, here we go to the internet search engine again.
