Default refinishing

I just purchased a 1931 Colt Officers Model Target in 38 caliber. All of the blueing is gone but gun is in great mechanical condition. No rust or pitting.I need recommendations for refinishing. My 1st choice would be send it to Colt.Who does good work without a lot of grinding.Would anyone recommend the finishes on Sigs or Berettas. I like the Black llaflon finish. What would you do with an Old Colt if it were yours.Any companies near Harrisburg, PA that I could visit?

Default Re: refinishing

My recommendation is that you don't refinish it-as long as it works properly.
