Default 1947 Remington .22 cal 550-1

Can anyone tell me what the shot capacity is for a 1947 Remington .22 caliber 550-1? From what I understand it shoots shorts, longs and long rifles and is a semi-auto.

The magazine should hold 15 rounds of .22lr. It will shoot .22 short long, and lr, but from what i have been told you don't want to mix them in the mag.

If I remember correctly mine held 22 shorts, either 17 or 19 longs, and 15 Long rifle. Been a long time since I've had any thing but LR in it.

A correction to my previous post. I found enough 22 shorts to check it. It will hold 21 shorts. I don't have enough longs to verify the number for them.
