Exclamation Help Montana hunters keep sabots

The Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks department is proposing to ban the use of sabots in shotguns and muzzle loaders in certain hunting areas.

But I'm not in Montana! Well it doesn't matter, they are accepting public input and do not ask where you live.

Hunting home page - > http://fwp.mt.gov/hunting/default.html

explains the proposed change - > http://fwpiis.mt.gov/content/getItem.aspx?id=48473

Make comments - > http://fwp.mt.gov/hunting/publicComments/sabots.html

Feel free to c/p this to other pro-hunting forums, blogs, etc. Time for comments ends on Friday 2/5

Foster, or sabot, should have a max range of around 500yds, so what's the problem? The advantage of the sabot over the Foster is that the sabot will give better accuracy, thus allowing you to take game out to 150yds. The sabot doesn't really shoot any further, it's just more accurate.

Lamentations Chapter 5:
1. Remember, O LORD, what is come upon us: consider, and behold our reproach.
2. Our inheritance is turned to strangers, our houses to aliens.
3. We are orphans and fatherless, our mothers [are] as widows.
5. Our necks [are] under persecution: we labour, [and] have no rest.
16. The crown is fallen [from] our head: woe unto us, that we have sinned!
21. Turn thou us unto thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old.
