hay all ? dont no much about what you can do and can't do .? i have a h bar with carry handle would like to switch it to a flat top . is it a big job upper looks like it sells for $119 much to change out or do you need a gunsmith? thanks

How much tools and knowhow ya got?
The upper usually comes factory mounted to the barrel. If'n ya don't have the skills to remove one from the other, get a smithy to do it. Better yet, get a new flat top. Best of both worlds. ![]() |

that was my next ? would i be better off getting a complet upper . big diff in $ . allso the frunt sight removle? looks like you half to drive pins out and use a puller. thanks a lot for the reply.

my favorite ar is a flat top with no sights at all.i do have detachable frount sights and a detachable handle with rear sights when i dont want the scope. old semperfi
