Not really related to the question or answer, but it is relevant for any owners of this firearm. CZ-USA is selling old surplus shoulder holsters for the CZ-82/CZ-83 for $5 each! http://shop.cz-usa.com/P-11194/Shoul...er-Cz8382.aspx Hard to beat that!

Also, I recently picked-up an excellent condition belt holster - shiney black with thumb snap retainer - supposedly Czech police issue - for 15 bucks. Internet auction site had a bunch of them. Excellent fit for my 82.
