ok back again
been told may be a single percussion fowling gun about 1830, thats possible.
Anyway will look for any names etc after give it a clean. Best way to clean ?
length from stock end to barrel tip = 154 cm
barrel = 112cm
bore is about 2.5 mm looks a bit bigger than a 12 bore.

Thanks again

If your looking to sell this gun (being as old as it is) as an antique, it may be best to leave some of the patina. Which means, don't clean it. You'll be scrubbing away some of the value, or at least in the eyes of collectors.

A fowler is a shotgun, so why the bullet mold? Is this gun rifled?

I honestly couldnt say . How does one tell?
The bullet mold was always lying with it in my father s house along with hs other guns but this was the only one that would possibly use a mold out of them all.
