Hey All,
I was thinking of putting a scope on my SKS in a few weeks. I've got a nice Tasco target (10-40x50)scope laying around and I think Kalinka makes side mount rail tall enough for it. My question is this: Do you think that's the way to go or should I put a mildot tactical scope on it? If so, who makes a good one that has a sturdy mount? A friend of mine has a scope mount that just replaces the back part of the reciever and it feels too finicky to me. If I do this, I want it to be very solid. Thanks for your info, Later

I would definitely stay away from the scope mounts that attach to the receiver cover.
The Kalinka scope mounts are among the best available for the SKS. From all reports I've heard, it's a good solid mount. You'll just have to drill & tap your receiver. |
