I do not think there will much overall change. The 2nd Amendment is strong and so is the Constitution.

ditto. Concerning, but doubtful if anything will come of recent events.

I'm going to shoot the hell outta my guns until that day....

I am hoping one or more of our "representatives" finds a conscience and stands up for the Constitution instead of rolling over. I don't think there is a "statesman" alive in this country today.

Obama will appoint two maybe three Supreme Court Justices in the next four years.

This Left wing lopsided court will destroy the Constitution including the Second Amendment.

There is no stopping them now, the Second is TOAST.

I think that at most there will be some new and useless regulation on "high capacity" magazines, likely a return to a 20 round limit or some similar nonsense.

IL, NY, CA will have an ongoing fight. I don't know how this will play out.

I'm of the same mind set. If we don't stop this maddness now, we won't have a Constitution, unless it's the one Obozo, the messiah, gets to write!

21. Turn thou us unto thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old.

I'd like to think that nothing will happen but over the years I have seen things happen that I thought would never happen in this country. Politicians have gotten away with things that I thought they would never in a million years get away with. The media has become something completely unrecognizable and corrupt. Our education system has brainwashed much of our youth. Celebrities and pundits on the left say things that no one ever would have thought much less said just 10 years ago and never get called out for it.

We will be one year into the reign of His Most Glorious and Heavenly Majesty, Barack I, Emperor of America, Whose Holy Name resounds from the Heavens and is praised in the songs of the Angels. May He reign forever and His Blessed family be worshiped and adored.

A few other things that should never have happened but did.
A tax for just existing called Obamacare. Goodbye constitution.
The patriot act and NDAA. Goodbye 4th amendment.
We have a man sitting in jail for making a video that offended Muslims. Goodbye 1st amendment.
Not all of this started with Obama, but he seems like he will be the one to finally destroy The Constitution.

My answer would normally have been, I just want to be alive in five years, but with the way this nations heading, I'm not so sure.

Totally agree. The recent 2nd Amendment cases have been along party lines (let's face it, the Supreme Court is the 3rd house of Congress).

The only reason the 2nd Amendment is intact right now is because libs are outnumbered on the court. Once that balance shifts, you can absolutely kiss your guns goodbye.

The worst part? I'm not sure there's anything we can do about it.

I just wish that someone would organize a march on DC., and we could get 10 million to show up! If nothing else marches on each state capitol. But I don't see anything out there right now that could put something like this together. I will go to Austin, or DC, or any capital building with in my driving range, say 1000 miles!

Each year gun owners assemble peaceably at the Virginia State Capital to voice their opinions to state lawmakers related to gun owner rights. This is generally held on MLK day. It's coming up in a couple of weeks. I'm not certain how many attend - but it seems like a couple thousand give up a day of work to get their views across.
