Have a BSA 8x32x44 (RFP) mildot scope.
To range find with this scope...which power setting do I use ? thanks

Thanks Boris....I think I worded my question wrong.
This scope ...I bought some years ago....it's a cheap one for sure..I should have said second focal plane probably. My understanding is.... In order to use mildot scale to range targets on a variable power scope ( one that's not a front focal plane ) , the power setting has to be on one particular setting..have heard "10" ...have heard highest power setting ? I'd like to set this scope ....it has Arms throw levers worth more than itself...on it....and put it aside....will be using it on a M1A NM.....If at all.
