Now that I have my new American Classic II 1911 and am looking to buy an STI International Spartan 1911, which has a plastic trigger, I would appreciate help on deciding the best triger to upgrade both pistols to.
I am sure there is vast experience on this form that I can learn from. Thanks in advance for the help. ![]()

The american classic is made alongside RIA in the phillipines, same farmers, same steels, same guns, different wrapper.
Any 1911 trigger should fit in either pistol. Slight stoning of the trigger and track may be required to obtain perfect fit. If you want to add some character to your 1911s look into some triggers from Fine ARTillery out of St. Louis Missouri. PM HelixFR for contact information. Its a brand new company. His triggers are pretty high end, fit well, and are lighter than most aftermarket units. He has 3 diffeent patterns. A naked lady, skulls, and scroll. I have skulls on my Taurus PT1911
