A friend of mine is selling the Pedersoli below and would like your opinion as to value.
The following is a letter from the company: Dear Sir: We apologise for being late answering you. We had troubles with the server and several older emails are just popping up. Your Kodiak double rifle was produced and exported to USA in the 1987. The slightly under dimensioned .54 caliber was made at the request of the USA importer. The indication of the .53 on the barrel is to advise about the correct ball size. We suggest to load a .531" round ball with .007 patch. We offer a mould block coded USA 307-531 which make round balls fitting your gun. If you want to inquire about the mould block price and availability we put you in touch with our USA full line distributor: BEAUCHAMP & SON INC., DBA Flintlock's Etc.- 160 Rossiter Road, RICHMOND,MA.01254 Ph. 413-698-822 - Fax 413-698-3866 - Email flintetc@berkshire.rr.com www.flintlocksetc.com Best regards, Customer Service DAVIDE PEDERSOLI & C. Via Artigiani, 57 I-25063 GARDONE VALTROMPIA (Brescia) ph.+39 030 8915000 fax +39 030 8911019 http://www.davide-pedersoli.com The gun is in excellent condition with only the sling and recoil pad having been added. Thanks in advance for your help.

The stock was squared off past the butt plate toe. Thats probably going to knock it down to around 600. It should be checkered also.
