Default Finally made it to the range, Thanks JLA !

After several months of trying, I finally got some time off to make it out to the range. Met up with Josh at his range and we spend a few hours shooting the bull and a few guns. I brought along a couple friends and we introduced my friend Jon's son to shooting. ( Beth, I promise I'll post up some pics as soon as I get them downloaded )

Here's most of what we shot today:

H&R 922 .22
Sig Mosquito .22
Ruger Blackhawk .357
Ruger SP101 .327FedMag
STI Spartan 45acp
CZ75 9mm
M1 Garand
Springfield '03 ( Josh has one of the finest I've ever shot )
Ruger 10/22
Marlin mod 60
Western Arms lever action .38spl
Browning A-Bolt 7mm-08
Mosin Nagant
870 Wingmaster 12ga

The winds were blowing 25+ left to right, otherwise a beautiful day for shooting. We were still dinging the steel @250yrds, it was good practice for wind doping and windage adjustments on the optics.

Thanks again Josh for having us out

Sounds like a great time. We had wind speeds clocked at 65MPH here today so there was no shooting.

Damn glad to have yall out Chris. And you are welcome any time.

And you missed the fun.. Right after yall head out my lil bro was shooting his Glock again and had another casehead failure that blew his extractor off. we found it and I put it back together, and he shot another 200 rounds.. Glock pistols are stange creatures of the firearms realm.. They are completely worthless in that you cannot shoot reloads for fear of casehead failures, yet no matter how many times you blow the damn thing apart with a casehead rupture, you can just put it back together and keep shooting like it never happened.

Oh yeah.. and you forgot to mention that sweet Rem 700..

Jon took some, I'm waiting on him to send them to me and then once I get'em, I'll post them.

Shelley couldn't believe I didn't take a single pic while I was out there..... i've never been a good photographer; I always forget the camera.

Shooting pics is never the intention anyway.

Guess folks will have to come on out in person if they wanna see us shoot.
