Default Wilson Combat Front Strap

Has anybody tried this before? I've heard they come loose, but the reviews I've looked at from more recently say the product is good.

I guess it's cheaper than shelling out the money to get the front strap checkered.

If you get them on right, there is never a problem. Most of the complants come from people that have crap grips that flex easy. part of the restraint that they rely on is the grips to keep them in place so the ends that are hooked hold on to the frame. I've put them on several open and idpa guns and they never have a problem.

Skateboard tape is less expensive and works much better IMHO.

Agreed!! I like it alot. It doesn't come off and if shooting alot of rounds without a glove it will callus your hand. I have it on 3 of my guns and never had a problem.

another vote for skateboard tape here as well.

On a competition gun tho Id prolly go with Hogue wraparounds as they are comortable and practical for a target gun.

Yeah got to agree on the skate tape too. I think the wilson front strap cover is 12 bucks. For 5 bucks I bought a 6x24 sheet of skate tape.
