DPM 28 - The Firearms Forum

Took me some time but I finally had a chance to take my new toy out shooting. Sometime ago I had SGM guns build me a DPM28. The wait has proven to be worth it. This thing ran flawlessly and can really sling the rounds out there some distance. There are only a couple of draw backs, one being the time it takes to load the magazines and the other is the trigger is a bit stiff. The sad part is now I really want an RPD belt fed.

That is quiet the gun you have there. How many rounds does the mag hold?

47 rounds of 7.62 X 54R.

here is a photo of my daughters current hang around shooting the DPM28 standing. This is a fun way to shoot this rifle although not very practical.

Cool factor is thru the roof! i bet she gets a few stares! I like it. And the ammo is pretty cheap rite now.

Don't let him ''hang around'' too much and let that sweet weapon disappear! Last time I saw one was in Iraq. Very cool weapon. The RPD is sick I just can't hide the cost from the wife....

Yeah, is that filter a stock Fram type, or is it the hi perf K&N variety? VERY COOL weapon sir. ENJOY!!
