PLease send prayers for the family of Kyle King, A veteran firefighter with the Perry, Oklahoma fire dept. He died sunday after collapsing July 29th fighting one of the many wildfires in our neck of the woods.

I am sorry I did not see this until this morning, Diamondback -
Heavenly Father, I come before you this morning on behalf of the family and friends of this man in Oklahoma. They are hurting, Lord, from the loss they have suffered. I ask that you would touch each one, and give them some measure of peace in the middle of this tragedy. I ask that you would let each one know just how much this man is appreciated for the sacrifices he made doing a job he did not have to do, but chose to do because it had to be done. Comfort each one, Father, and let them know that this separation need not be a permanent one. And I thank you, Lord, for raising up men like this to stand in the gap and put their lives on the line for love of their fellow man. And I ask these things in the name of Jesus the Christ, the good shepherd who laid down his life for his sheep - Amen
