Angry My letter to my Representative in the House

Dear Honorable Bloviation,

I did not see your name among the 66 House Republicans including Ron Paul, Ted Poe, Louie Gohmert, and Randy Neugebaur who voted against the worthless Boehner-Reid-Obama compromise.

I thought more highly of you and thought you would see through the absolute bull stuff that this bill represented. The first year it saves 7 Billion dollars when we are borrowing 100 billion a month to pay interest???? Tell me it ain't so.

There are no real cuts to spending and the debt ceiling was raised anyway. Also, with the downgrading of our credit rating the small pittance cut by this last worthless bill is already eaten up.

You are there to reduce the spending not to compromise with the Democrats. We need CONSERVATIVES with the cajones to stand their ground, uphold their constituents principles and remember that they (you) work for us. Not to vote how YOU want, but how WE want you to. That is how a Republic Representative Government is supposed to work.

Remember what our Declaration of Independence says? But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security.

I don't think this is what your constituents intended as a means to cut back the size of government. You may want to consider the consequences of such voting because we have very little tolerance for either RINO's or representatives voting against the will of their constituents. The House still controls the purse strings, so tighten things up.

Respectfully,
Me

Normally he votes a good conservative line, so I don't know WTH happened to knock him off course this time. I also called one of his offices in Texas and told the nice lady he is to represent his constituents, not to get on his knees and take everything the Democraps are giving him.

Really pissed me off. The SOB better not make one mistake between now and 11-2012 or we'll run him back to east Texas.

Louie Gohmert represents our area, and I sent him an email telling him that he was doing a good job! Sorry yours is a putz! Maybe if enough conservatives contact him, he'll straighten up, and fly right.

5. Our necks [are] under persecution: we labour, [and] have no rest.
16. The crown is fallen [from] our head: woe unto us, that we have sinned!
21. Turn thou us unto thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old.

I'm glad to say my rep and 2 senators all voted against the debt ceiling bill.

My representative is a bloviated socialist, and she voted against it... probably because she didn't like ANY spending cuts (as meaningless as they essentially were) and didn't like that there were no redistributative tax increases.
