Default My first Grandkid-a boy named Caden!

my daughter gave birth to a sweet little guy early this morning-he came a month early but was healthy and doing great! My first grandchild and a grandson to boot! She's in LA, wish she were closer... He's only a few hours old and I'm gonna start shopping for a shotgun and a set of duck and goose calls for him

i've never seen that verse-kinda sums it all up!
I'm tickled silly about his birth, and anxious to get my hands on him. His Mom says she wants him to be an artist(she's an artist) but I'm gonna make a good lil' redneck out of him! Much more fun than being Mama's boy. He'll figure it out. I hung around both my Grandpas as much as possible, one was a blacksmith, I loved his shop. The other lived the next farm over from us and farmed until he was 92. Probably the kindest man I've ever know, and madly in love with Grandma 'til the day he died-lived to be 100. If I can be half the man my grandpa's were or my Dad is ,I'll be a good grandpa.

There is a certain artistry in a well placed shot, whether it be at a duck or a piece of paper.

From a grand-dad of 4, 3 boys and a princess, I gotta say CONGRATS !!!! They are the bestest toys, you spoil them rotten and then send them home.

Don't forget about the youth model 22's and Rossi makes a nice inexpensive "Tri-fecta" gun.

You're gonna have a world of joys and heartaches.

if you use the birth of a child or grandchild as an excuse to buy guns and/or ammo, you may be a gun nut

congrats!
