PAUL LOCKYER
you'll probably never hear me talk about a journalist this way ever again Paul was one of the few journo's who traveled with the Australian and New Zealand troops while the war in Cambodia raged he was honest and when SHTF picked up a rifle and helped out , he was a practical funny and honest man i dont know his family , i only know him as a battlefeild journalist who did what was needed to keep up with the troops and not be a burden as others have been I'm saddened by his passing as many of the troops here would be when the now greens senator brown here was just a gay rights and communist campaigner and called Australian troops war criminals including myself Paul stood up and showed the world what the socialists of the world where defending , the killing fields and shut em up with one question "Sir , in stopping these horrific acts by your political allies you say they ( Australian troops) are criminals , but Sir how can you defend what the Khmer Rougue have done to their own people ?" he could not defend it and saved myself and my men from the charges the socialists where trying to lay on us he stood up for the troops he stood up for truth May the Good Lord rest his soul and know if we meet in Glory , i'll be glad and honored to have him stand beside me he was a patriot and shall be remembered
