http://www.coldsteel.com/gladius-machete.html
I've been a cold steel fan for some time now, and have an assortment of their blades. A few months ago I bought their Gladius practis sword which is made of hard plastic. It was neat, but then I saw they had the Gladius Machette. It looked good on line, and for $50 bucks thought I try one. I was afraid it would feel light and cheap. Not so. Just call me Bigguth Dickuth. It comes with sheath, now all I need are some innsolent Goths. When I go into the back yard, the vines and weeds all bow down. two thumbs up! Now I see how Rome kicked so much butt.

I was looking at that last nite! Cold Steel ,right? Glad to hear it's not thin and cheap. i may have to order one now. Very cool design, but those plastic handles would get replaced. Thanks

I found out a long time ago, the best thing to take to a knife fight is someone else. I'd rather face the wrath of a scorned woman than cold steel.

My dad used to drive a V100 escorting supply convoys in Vietnam. He said they used to spray agent orange right beside them sometimes to kill the vegetation along the highway.....and of course the wind would blow it all over them. I just don't get how our government didn't figure that if it kills plants, how it wouldn't be harmful to our troops.
