Talking RIA / Brazilian army home build pics

I built this as my first 1911 build project its kinda complete for now...




camera battery died before any detail pics it ain't nothin' special but she was/is my first
RIA frame $89.95(with mag release and crap ejector mim)
Brazilian army top end $50.00 (auction boogered up)
Fusion(STI) trigger group $99.95
Ed Brown memory groove beavertail (free)
Ed Brown pin kit $10.00
magazine (had it)
slide machine work sights (used) 60.00
Colt thumb safety $14.95
Swenson (cheapo) slide stop $14.95
Colt plastic msh (had it)

$340 price tag, very nice. A little duracoat or parkerizing and I think I'd call it done. oh.. and some CW grips

How long did it take you to fit everything?

it took a while but I didnt really pay attention to the time I was up til 2 a couple nights and yeah some cerakote is what I want on it but the cold blue will do for now I also want to "bobtail it" but that and a match grade barrel and a new extractor and ejector will have to wait until I get to a more moneyfied position

The cerakote & bobtail will look great and I hear ya on trying to find that money tree.
