A good friend of mine called me this in jest. It sounded good to me and I adopted it, but he gets the credit.

The caliber of a 10" bull contender barrel I had.....It started out life as a .22 mag barrel...........A few turns with a reamer (and a different extractor) and it became a .218 Bee barrel. ............It really never shot that special with any load I came up with, (factory loads shot worse). I sold it to another "contender nut" years ago. The .221 barrel I replaced it with (from Bullberry barrels) always shot very well...... Don in SC

my best friend came up with it, he first used it for America's Army, a free online First Person Shooter game created, designed, and distributed by the U.S. Army in the late 90s for recruiting purposes.
i now use it as my character name in almost every game i play and on most forums. http://americasarmy.com/aa/ |

Local Indian"s language have a bunch of descriptive names for the wolves where we live. Zhurh is used for those huge, old, and wary ones that can't be shot or caught.

My on line name is my nick name that was "given" to me from my pop-pop in 1961 on Thanksgiving day.The family was all together and my bro. and cousins were playing tag when I ran into the dinning room and tried to escape under the dinning room table(wich is what i did for years) but I grew and did not make it smacking my head on the table top landing on my butt next to my pop-pop(he was sitting at the table)
.When i got up my bro. was right there(he was IT)saying "I got you now" so i turned and did the excact same thing my pop-pop looked down at me laying on the floor with a lump starting on my head and said "Boy you are f****ng GOOFY" and so it stuck now every one calls me GOOFY and has for so long that my wife says it will be put on my grave stone ........... .GOOFYLast edited by goofy; 09-04-2011 at 08:35 AM.. |

Call sign for all PanAm aircraft and just a little memorial for that great airline. Yep, I miss it.

I HATED to work on those things! An absolute back breaker to do anything under the panel. I will never forget that number (N999PK)....I think of it every time my back aches. Great flying plane, like most Beech products, but NO FUN to wrench on.
Always wondered what happened to that old plane, some Bonanza has that N-number now.

I'm a Mustang nut, I guess you could say... So, pony car fits. 17 is just a recurring number for me. I wouldn't call it lucky but definitely recurring.

Thats awesome! There seems to be a few pilots here! I am a liscensed pilot, but I have some special rules to follow, being a Type 1 Diabetic. So I re-test every 2 years. and I have to keep an updated log of my blood sugars for the FAA if they ever did decide to investigate any incident I had while behind the prop.
I tested in a Cessna 150, my dad owns a 1972 Cessna 182RG, and a 1954 DeHavilland Beaver. We just bought a set of floats for it and I cant wait to start flyin it to Yakutat, AK again! My handle on a few other forums is 480Stag! Chose it because as a teenager, my dad bought a Beechcraft Staggerwing 480. Took us 5 years to complete, and made its first flight to Nevada in the Spring of 2004. Brings back a lot of memories. But a beautiful flying machine! |

I have a 1975 Stingray and when I joined a vette forum a few years ago Stingray75 and 75Stingray were already taken so I just put the year in the middle. Now I find it easier to use the same screen name wherever I go. All my good friends just call me STING.
