im gonna move this thread over to Ask the pros forum. They are more likely to get answers there, as thats where our pros tend to lurk.

Also merged the 2 together so your answers will be in one place.

The slide and frame and how they are machined, are very much like the CZ 75...The frame has the rails on the inside of the frame, and the slide sits inside of these. Other than this, I am not aware of any other simularities.....The Mauser is striker fired, the CZ's on the other hand are hammer fired.

Regards, Kirk

These pistols have hammers as the vz-22.
They are not like guns mauser 1914 model with firing pin.

understand?

PS pistol #1 slide engraved "Waffenfabrik-Mauser"
pistol #2 slide engraved "Mauser-Werke"

Saludos juangomez

As I have nothing to thank me!!!

If not the inventor, designer and builder Engineer Josef Nickl even patented parts.
Which transfers the rights to Waffenfabrik-Mauser and then to Mauser-Werke.
Such a difference (among others) have the vz-22 caliber 9 mm Parabellum.
The other big difference from the 1910 and vz-22 is that they are not pocket size.
They look more like the colt 1911.

Both pistols "Mauser-Nickl" " were made of similar size to the COLT 1911.

I repeat not "vestpockets pistols.

Besides it off is traditionally a rotating barrel but no .... OTHER other non-mechanical system described by any book.

If anyone has any given report is thanked me publicly or privately.

Thanks juangomez
