Need .50 BMG load - The Firearms Forum

Anybody got a good load for a .50BMG.I figure I'll be using the 650 grain mil surplus ball slug but I have no idea what powder or how much powder I'll need to get it up to around 3,000 fps.The mil crap I am using now goes from 2500-3300 FPS and is expensive,I figure loading will give me better ammo and cheaper..If you have a load please let me know..Thanks
