The NRA hopefully will stop this in the act.

Unless I am mistaken, this is a treaty that would require 67 Senators to adopt. Could happen, but not likely, IMO, any time soon. 2012 elections are vitally important.

Never underestimate the power of the UN, what with their tame media to back those they say to support, and that alone buys votes, and most politicians know this intimately ..

Hopefully enough people will get involved in the next election to prevent this.

Vigilance is a great thing and I try to stay on top of things. And, I thank you Jack and others who alert us to pending legislation. I will do my part and again contact my pro gun organizations and legislative members to oppose any UN initiatives.

Thats a nice little thought you have there. But the fact of life is that any decent law enforcement agency or military could easily take those guns and or your life away no matter how much ammo you have stockpiled. If they do pry them from your cold dead hands, none of them are going to lose a nights sleep over you.

The best thing to do here is to get the liberals out of our government and that means in the Dem and Rep parties. The future of our rights and the country depends on it.

Bad idea to type something like that! Even with a next to it. Such comments give everyone visiting this site a bad name and could bring unwanted attention.
