Default Sounds stupid, but it works

I've got a few black walnut trees in my back yard. If you ever tried to bust into some of these nuts, ya know that they are a pain in the *** to get at the meat.
Tried using my single stage reloading press to crack these things & it works pretty good - - - - considering I don't have any squirrel genes in me.
Just an idea that somebody out there might want to try.

I just set them on an anvil, and whack em with a hammer! Did you know that green walnuts are poisonous to fish? We used to fish with them when I was a kid. Crush them up in a grass sack, add a few rocks, and toss the sack in the creek. Go down stream, and wait for the fish to float to you! The oil from the walnuts will get in the water, coat the gills of the fish, and they can't breathe.

Lamentations Chapter 5:
1. Remember, O LORD, what is come upon us: consider, and behold our reproach.
2. Our inheritance is turned to strangers, our houses to aliens.
3. We are orphans and fatherless, our mothers [are] as widows.
5. Our necks [are] under persecution: we labour, [and] have no rest.
16. The crown is fallen [from] our head: woe unto us, that we have sinned!
21. Turn thou us unto thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old.

I typically use BIG Channellocks, the 460 size.

When I was a kid, that's what I thought a six-gun was, watching those sheriff's nail up those wanted posters, in the TV westerns.

I too had a black walnut tree in my back yard for a few years. For me, it wasn't worth the work to get that little bit of meat out of a black walnut. Ours were about the size of a small apricot and each needed at least 1 1/2 tons pressure to crack 'em...
