Smile More Fall Photos, with an Architecture Twist

I don't know how these strike anyone else but I like 'em!

I took these before a conference this morning.

Ok, the last one was "just because"... The next few stay more true to the architecture title.

Here's one more that deviates from the architecture theme but I like it anyway and it's fall-related. This is my son, holding his pumpkin to decorate for his 4K class.

This one for sure

Then this one. If there are pumpkins involved it surely is fall related

As usual. Stunning Photos man! I like the saturation... Just right! It brings a brand new view of the world when you get to shooting! Im always impressed!

And Im a die hard west coast-ee college fan, but Ive got a soft spot for Clemson! And Ive been really likin Tajh Boyd tossin, and Xavier Brewer(2nd on teams P.I. w/ a 7.40) in the defensive back position. Couple of Jr's that play like they have been on the team for many a year!

Great shots pony, agree with Marlins pick for Fall Arch. You could sell Evan to Hallmark (the pic, not the boy)!

And I say again, very nice photography. Don't remember ever seeing anything any better. Beth is right, you should try your hand at selling.

Thanks Chinook!

I'm impressed with Clemson this year as well. Tajh is scary talented! Clemson is my alma mater but I'm generally not a big college football follower. This year I can't help but to be following them.

Beth, I wouldn't know where to start. I do have a family friend wanting me to do a shoot for her grand daughter. That could go well if she shows the photos off. Portraits are really the only thing that I can envision selling. Everyone wants landscape photos and such for free. There are a lot of insanely good photographers out there. I follow some of them and I can't believe what they're able to do and the things they're able to visit.

Thanks Woodnut! Again, I wouldn't know where to start...

Yep Rosie, he's growing up wayyyy too fast.

We're in the latter part of prime time color up here. Some of our trees have already lost all their leaves. It looks like the long, dreary winter is on its way.

There are sites on line that will sell for you; here is just one: http://www.shutterfly.com/selling_ph...online_faq.jsp Please be sure to protect your photos, get a patent on them.

Thanks carver. I've seen those sites. I turned a coworker onto zenfolio.com and he occasionally has a purchase from karate event participants/parent. I actually suggested it to him because another former coworker and part-time photographer uses them. I just don't really see anything selling there. Who knows, though?

Their sales are primarily from events where they took pictures (weddings, class reunions, parties, etc..). They pass out cards and sometimes a guest will purchase a picture from the site. I'm not sure if they can cover the cost of their online subscription.

I had a sports magazine publish one of my photos without permission. I politely had a meeting with the editor and became a staff photographer with press pass so I could get into events and go on the sideline for free. All in all, it turned out great until the magazine eventually folded.
