Carl starts on the pole and Tony starts in 15th
This means that Tony has to pass 18 cars to win the cup.

Go Carl Go

Go Carl Go
Bad math there Marlin. He only has to finish four places in front of Carl. If Tony wins race and leads the most laps, the only way Carl win Championship is to finish second (Assuming Carl also leads at least one lap). Carl has advantage of being out of traffic at start. Gooooo Bobby #47 ..

I knew there was a reason I don't watch. I can't even understand the language.

Bob I'm sure that you will understand this language when I say that I threw up a bunch in the back of my throat when I saw Michelle the Belle Obomba and Gill Biden give the opening call for the Gentlemen to start their engines.

I wonder if she/they got there shots before hanging out with all those redneck people at the track.

Marlin, while I'm not a fan of NASCAR, I do appreciate its history and that of the fans.

I too just threw up a bit in my mouth at your mention of the the first lady and the anouncement.

How does one go from hating our country to. 'Gentlemen, Start yer Engines'.

There's so much WRONG with that!

Congrats Tony!
It has been a long time since another owner/driver won the championship.

Amazing year of racing. So what do you think about a tie in points for first place?

You are correct there Marlin. Not since my hero Alan Kulwicki and his "Polish victory Lap" backwards. LOL He won it in '92 on a shoestring budget. Tony is a complete driver and not many have won as many races in as many different divisions as Stewart. Congrats to him. Next year another championship for Bobby Gooo #47.
