Just finished my new 100 yard bug zapper. A Savage 93GV barreled action in 17 HMR, Boyd RVT thumbhole stock. Stocky's trigger-guard/floorplate, and the (hard to find) Platinum 36X fixed power target scope.
I modified the Accu-Trigger somewhat (no creep/lighter pull), first time out it was printing dime size groups at a 100......you just can't say enough about those Savage 93's (or the 17 HMR) Great guns..........

Oh wow, that is a gem. And blue is my favorite color. Yes sir, a dime at 100 yards is fine shooting.

You have the perfect rifle for the job at hand.I bought mine brand new At Dicks in Natick,Ma set up just like your is, and may I add it is a bug zapper also.
