Heck yeah and he had the pygmies dig underneath a dry riverbed and found a small ruby to use as the bullseye. While digging, a few of the pygmies panned the dirt pile and found some nugget, which carl will surely use to inlay a scroll pattern into his walker and bunny fur lined peg legs.

Oh yeah, and dont forget the bunny fur tighty whities the pygmies made him, fur side in of course.. Bet them things are comfy..

Man, what a trip. I would like to thank Shooter45, DoubleD, and all the rest for keeping the forum updated on my misshaps. Ya'll must have really missed me. I have a few pictures I will post. I didn't have as good a hunt this year as last but as you can see in the picture, I did'n do too bad.

Todd51, that picture of the walker you sent worked fairly well but the brakes failed and came close to causing another accident. By that time the pygmies had showed up and built me a new one and it worked great, see picture below. I really think them pygmies are a little smarter than I had given them credit for.

The big toe is getting better. I thought I was goint to have to amputate and already had my pocket knife drawed on it when one of the pygmies took it away and made that walker. That thing is sweet. I may keep it around to go to the garden this summer. Wow, what a ride. I have only one picture of the Tennessee band of pygmies, but let me tell you I was very thankful they showed up, and to think they came out of nowhere, just all at once when I was in trouble.

Killed a lot of rabbit as the guys said, but the tighties did not work out. There was a cuckle burr in the fur that was too hard to remove and was not comfortable so I had to bare all and just go on hunting. That was a sight for sure. But I am home now in the recliner and recooping. Maybe I will be OK in a few weeks. Still have a lot of deer to process. I will send pictures of the potted meat when it is finished, but I will never reveal the secret recipe that Sam gave me. Gotta go get some rest now, my toe is throbbing. More pictures will be posted sometime today if I can get back to the computer.

Looks like you and OCC chopper got together on that chair. They failed miserably on their creation the other night so they chopped it up and made you a chair. Maybe the old man has a heart after all........uh naaa

Just got an email from one of the pygmies and they tell me they have an artist among them and he drew a picture of what he remembered about the trap. So I sent the picture on to ya'll. I wish I had captured the outrigger for the canoe in the picture of the tribe. I know it is close by, because they take that thing everywhere they go. Just never know when it might be needed. But I don't see it in the picture, they must be standing on it for more height.

This is a long process but I am sending a picture of the beginning of the potted meat process. It just looks like ground meat now, but wait til tomorrow and It will start taking shape, it the recipe works. If it don't I will have Sam to blam.

May have to read the directions again on the potted meat, this batch came out a little runny.
Maybe I will have better luck tomorrow, too tired to continue tonight.

I need a grinder like that. I made 6 pounds of ground fajita from the mexican store (50/50 beef and chicken) for enchiladas and my arms are jelly. Stoopid hand crank meat grinders.

I don't know Carl. That Potted Meat looks pretty good. As a matter of fact, we may just have Potted Meat at next years TFF BBQ instead of BBQ Pork. Much faster to prepare since we don't have to smoke it and much more nutrious. I'm thinking of a LARGE Potted Meat Loaf. Yum, Yum.

The Pygmies will miss Carl and I'm sure the Rabbit population will decrease in Tennessee. Buy stock in Poison Darts and you will likely become wealthy.

Put it in the freezer and it'll firm right up.

This is my Saturday batch, it's looking better. Now for the taste test. From the looks of it I sorta dread it.

Found another photo of the Pygmie leader and his body guards that followed me after the accident.

Carl, I recognize these little guys. They are from the same tribe that helped me. The little pot gutted Pygmie in the back is pretty tough.

How did that batch of Potted Meat turn out.

It sure looks good.

I thought I heard in their native language the mention of Sam. So I guess that was you.

I have hit the jackpot on the potted meat. It is so good the wife and I are thinking about canning it in qt size so we will have enough for a good meal. We may even sutff some of it in sausage cassings and have pottedsausage. I am going to keep on until I get rich off of this stuff.
Boy you should try some of it. But I will preserve the recipe forever as I was ask to do. I'm just like Duke on Bush's baked beans, "I'll never tell".

I spoke with Carl on Monday and guess what ?

He's back in Tennessee deer hunting again.

He had a lot of help last year and turned a bad situtation into a good one.

I'm expecting a call from him soon and I'll give you an update.

His shoulder is well so I doubt he will have any trouble getting a good shot.

Good luck Carl.

I gotta ask.... Which hurt more, when the trap snapped shut, or when you ran the length of the chain????
