It would make an interesting poll, but I'm pretty sure I know the results already.

So for the sake of the legislators out there who might have staff reading along on TFF, here we go:

The Federal government has decided to ban firearms. All firearms are to be turned in.

Is there any possible, conceivable way that you would comply with this law? Would you ever give up your guns?

Didn't you lose that rifle in a freak boating accident? That's how Double D and I lost all our guns. Twice. We took them on a deep sea fishing excursion in case we ran into pirates. A big wave hit the boat, all our guns and ammo went overboard. Major bummer.

They can recruit all the Obamajugend they want. They can bring all the troops home and try to turn them into gun collectors. They can tell every cop they need to round up guns.

And they still wouldn't have enough people to do it.

What's different here than from the UK and Australia, etc. is that we have the Constitution. Obama and company use it for a doormat and don't know what it says, but we do. I know a lot of gun owners, and to a person, they couldn't care less what laws are passed - they will not give up that right, and they know why. As soon as they do, they're a target for every scumbag on the planet, who also couldn't care less what laws are passed.

I think the bit about including US citizens was meant to include those folks who are not connected to any known terrorist groups, but believe in their ideology, and are citizens. Also folks who have came to the US, became citizens and have since became sleepers, or part of a sleeper cell.

I previously posted a recount of the Salem witch hunt, and the irreparable damage it done.

Although the law may have good intentions, it is bound to go wrong. Neighbors will devour neighbors. Family members will turn against family members and so on.

A Witch hunt by any other name will be the result.

The streets will look like the internment of the japanese during the war. Only it will be filled with law abiding, patriotic, God fearing citizens.

It'll never happen.

actually the vast majority of the Jap-Americans were just as law abiding, and Patriotic as everyone else, and while maybe not many of them were God fearing, most of them were still U.S. Citizens who didn't deserve the treatment that they got from the Government.

which leads me to question, why didn't the same happen to the German-Americans? Italian-Americans? and what happened to their God and Constitutionally protected weapons? were they confiscated? certainly, potential enemy agents wouldn't be allowed to keep their guns!

having lived through a anti gun move , i think folks who think its not possible should take a trip to Darwin cemetary where a good mate of mine is buried , shot by police who came to take his guns away ..

he was not a criminal , he's the guy they based the story of Crocodile Dundee on , a good bloke , friend to many , shot by cops for gun control

talk to the family of Professor Julius Sumner Miller who was locked up and when even then he refused to hand in his hand gun , they then charged his family with being accessories ...

folks fought back and so they left us with bolt actions , we've been fighting for over 16 years now and though we have some wins , the criminals have killed over 16,000 defenceless people ...

and made 1.2 million law abiding folks criminals for finding ammo in their late parents home, or other stupid reasons

its not fantasy at all , its the coming reality for you all there

Australia is a test bed for the UN rule of law

those who say it wont happen only help those working to make it happen
